TerrAdapt: The Return – Book One (Early Demo)

Humanity left a dying Earth centuries ago. Now the radiation has faded, the atmosphere has stabilised, and scattered research teams have begun the long, slow process of returning home.

Most stations went dark. No one knows why.

You are the newly appointed Lead Ecologist of TerrAdapt Site D-14, a small six-person outpost clinging to the cliffs of New Earth. Your job is simple on paper: study the mutated flora and fungi, document the new ecosystems, survive the unpredictability of a world that has adapted without us and determine whether human can once again live on Earth.

This demo contains the opening chapter:

character creation → arrival → first base interactions → the initial research sequence.

It introduces the tone, setting, mutation themes, and crew members who will form the core of the story and romances later on.
